Mission

The Canton Public Library enriches lives and inspires curiosity by fostering a passion for reading and lifelong learning.

We are proud to provide a welcoming environment that serves as a center for community engagement where together we explore, discover, and learn.

The Canton Public Library serves the Canton community with books, audio-books, DVDs, large print books, eBooks and eAudiobooks, newspapers, reference materials, STEAM-to-Go! kits, and much more.

We have six public-access computers, free WiFi, fax service, copier and printer, and meeting space.

We also provide a wide variety of programming for all ages, such as Story Time for 0-5, Lego Club and Crafternoons for older kids, Artist Receptions, Book Club and other events for adults. We organize reading challenges not only during the summer reading program, but at various times throughout the year.
